Wilsonart® Econo-Bak


Product Description
Wilsonart Type 200 Econo-Bak is a single ply phenolic non-balance backer sheet.  When applied in a three-ply construction on the opposite side of a substrate faced with high-pressure decorative laminate (HPL) or other decorative surfacing materials, it improves dimensional stability by providing moisture resistance (humidity) to the substrate.  Atmospheric moisture is a primary cause of dimensional changes or warpage in a three-ply construction.  Typical uses include office furniture, case goods, cabinets, tables, vanities and more.

Product Composition
Econo-Bak is a kraft paper that is saturated and coated  with a modified thermo setting resins cured with high temperature to specifications designed to maximize performance.

Econo-Bak is available in sheet sizes to fit customer requirements.  Nominal sizes and thickness available as noted:

Laminating Procedures
Econo-Bak is  single sided bondable only on the code printed side. The Econo-Bak is bondable to a variety of substrates such as particleboard, MDF, plywood, OSB, and others.  Allow the

components, HPL, substrate and Econo-Bak to acclimate to ambient conditions for 48 hours prior to laminating.  Consult your adhesive manufacturer for recommended adhesives and cure times.

Basic Limitations
Products manufactured with Econo-Bak are for interior use only.

Warranty
Wilsonart International, Inc. warrants pre-fabricated Econo-Bak to be free of defects in material and workmanship.  In the event that the product does not perform as warranted, the original purchaser’s sole remedy shall be limited to return or replacement, at Wilsonart’s sole discretion, of all or any part of the product, which is defective.

NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED ARE MADE INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WILSONART INTERNATIONAL, INC.
